LIONS LAKE MARTIN CHARITY POKER RUN OFFICIAL RULES AND INFORMATION July 18, 2020 Due to COVID-19, this year's Poker Run will have a few modifications in order to ensure everyone's safety. Russell Marine staff and Lions Club members will all wear gloves and masks. We have changed the route,. Run It Once Poker has announced that it will host a three-handed, bracketed charity tournament featuring 27 poker pros and amateurs. All the action will be streamed on Twitch on Saturday, December 19. The tournament, which will function similarly to a heads-up MTT bracket but three-handed, will use the operator’s new SNG Select tournaments. 12th Annual Support Our Troops Poker Run June 27th - 29th. The 1000 Islands International Charity Poker Run is extremely proud to bring people from around the US and Canada to Clayton, NY and the Thousand Islands region. “The Fresh Water Boating Capital of the World.”
The 1000 Islands International Charity Poker Run is a grassroots volunteer-driven event, dedicated to the charitable needs and economic development of the Thousand Islands Region. The goal of the 1000 Islands International Charity Poker Run is to host events that promote the local river communities and preserve the historic integrity of the Thousand Islands.

Mission
With the support of dedicated volunteers, the 1000 Islands International Charity Poker Run’s mission is threefold:
- Provide an exciting event with spectacular boats in a safe family-friendly environment.
- Promote Clayton and the Thousand Islands Region.
- Raise money and awareness for…
- Make A Wish of Central New York
- The River Community Wellness Program for Treatment of Veterans
Our objective is to raise money through Corporate Sponsors, silent auction items, t-shirt sales and Boater entry fees.
The 1000 Islands Charity poker Run is intended to be a safe family-friendly event. There will be many things to experience, both on and off the water. Expect more ‘slow zones’, allowing for participants and spectators alike to have a clear view of the boats at a safe distance.
100% of all donations and proceeds will be going to charity.

River Community Wellness Program
River Community Wellness Program at River Hospital provides Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) treatment to America’s heroes, past and present. Active Duty military members diagnosed with PTSD are treated in the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Veterans diagnosed with PTSD are provided services in an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Both the PHP and IOP are group focused programs drawing on the strength created when a group of like-minded individuals join together in the healing process. Groups are dynamic and focus on education that covers a wide range of therapeutic strategies. Participants receive the benefit of treatment by expert staff that genuinely cares about their well-being. The program keeps our military members and Veterans close to home while they are healing and learning to cope. With no other civilian run PHP like this in the country, River Hospital has accepted the challenge and responsibility to offer this intensive level of treatment to our Soldiers.
